Industry Indices
Keynote’s Industry Indices provide ongoing benchmarks of Web site availability and responsiveness for the top sites in a given industry segment. All index measurements are collected using Keynote’s global test & measurement infrastructure and are taken 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Pages are measured from major metropolitan areas on a variety of backbones to assure that the results are representative.
Keynote offers two types of performance indices:
- Home Page Indices track single URLs, such as a company’s home page. Versions are available based on Keynote’s Application Perspective and Transaction Perspective High Frequency monitoring products.
- Business Transaction Indices track a series of related URLs, typically the pages of a business transaction. These in-depth benchmarks are based on Keynote’s Transaction Perspective monitoring product.
