Business Transaction Index for Banking Web Sites

The Keynote Banking Index measures the total execution time and success rate for logging into an account and checking the account balance at selected banking Web sites.  Measurements are collected from the ten largest U.S. metropolitan areas (Boston, Chicago, Dallas, Detroit, Houston, Los Angeles, New York, Philadelphia, San Francisco, and Washington, D.C.) on high-speed links attached to key points on the largest U.S. Internet Service Provider (ISP) backbones.

The sites that appear in the Keynote Banking Index were selected based on publicly available market-share information published in The Wall Street Journal and other reliable industry sources.  For a complete FAQ on this index click here.

Digital Transactions publishes the complete results for all sites measured. Click here to view the results.
